Once your session is booked, we’ll work together to plan every detail. From outfits and tack to how you envision displaying your portraits, we’ll make sure you’re fully prepared and excited. You’ll receive your Portrait Planning Guide — filled with prep tips, inspiration, and helpful checklists — so you can feel confident and ready on session day.
Your Pre-Session Consultation
Your horse is ready, you’re ready, and I’ll be there early to scope the property and plan the flow of your session. Together, we’ll capture a mix of timeless portraits, relaxed natural poses, and those candid moments that make your connection unique.
Your Photo Shoot
About four weeks after your session, you’ll receive a link to your private, password-protected online gallery. From there, you can download your digital images and order prints, wall art, or albums. Not sure what will look best in your space? I’ll help guide you to select pieces that perfectly match your style and decor.
Your Photographs
About two to three weeks after placing your print order, your one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted wall art and prints will arrive. These pieces are designed to be treasured — a lasting way to celebrate your horse and the story we captured together.

We had the best time working with Jessica on our engagement photo shoot. It was a super hot and muggy day, and Jessica went above and beyond to keep us cool and comfortable for the shoot - bringing along a fan and other props to help us cool down. She did an amazing job photographing Noelle (my mare), finding the best locations/light on the property, and was generally a blast to work with!
