I absolutely love mini sessions. If you’re not ready to invest in a full-blown, 2 hour long portrait session with your horse, a mini session is definitely the way to go. Minis are also great for kids and their favorite lesson horse – which is what Abby wanted to do with Hugo. Hugo is owned by Abby’s trainer, but Abby lessons on him weekly, and they have a great bond and horse/rider relationship. Thirty minutes was just enough time to capture some fun memories of the two of them together to make into prints for Abby to decorate her new bedroom – what little girl doesn’t want a huge portrait of her favorite pony for her bedroom?
