I know I’m only like, a year behind on my blogging (!), but I feel like Ann and Munchkin were worth the wait, don’t you?! Ann was Mrs. New Jersey 2019, and we did these portraits shortly before she competed for the title of Mrs. America 2019.
It has been so fun to follow along with Ann on her journey of philanthropy and sisterhood. I’ve learned a bit about pageants since I met Ann, and it’s really incredible to see so many strong, intelligent women come together to do their part to make the world a better place. Like they have really amazing platforms and are doing really wonderful things to give back to their communities. They also strive to make a positive impact in the lives of other women. But Ann is especially wonderful in that she loves HORSES! Unfortunately, Ann’s family’s horses are out west. Since she lives in NJ, she arranged for us to work with Genevieve Naffin and Munchkin at Foxbreeze Farm in Colts Neck, NJ.
Let’s talk about Munchkin for a second here. He’s like, hands down the most tolerant, bomb proof, easy-going horse I’ve ever met. Floral wreaths around his neck? No biggie. A floor-length ball down all over his back? Sure, why not? If only all horses were this easy-going and laid-back. Genevieve tells me that her favorite thing to do with Munchkin is fox hunting. Apparently he’s just as cool out on a hunt as he is hanging in his own backyard! It was such a fun evening. Foxbreeze Farm is just a stunningly beautiful property that was just perfect for our portrait session.
Thank you Ann and Genevieve (a bit belated, I know) for a wonderful evening with the gorgeous Foxbreeze Farm! And thank you to Munchkin the Wonder Horse for being the best model ever!
