I am looking for individuals in the NJ/PA/NY area to collaborate with me on a personal project. The only requirements – you must own a senior horse over the age of 25 (although this is a bit flexible depending on the situation) and you must have owned that horse for 5 years or more. And of course like getting your picture taken!
If chosen, participants will be required to communicate with me via email and/or phone. I want to hear the story of you and your horse, and some of the highs and lows you’ve experienced together as well as the challenges (and rewards!) that come with caring for a senior horse. Your participation also includes a complimentary photo shoot. We’ll be focusing primarily on the connection between horse & rider, so you will be asked to participate in the photo shoot. Some individual portraits of your horse on his or her own may be included as well. Styling of the session, including clothing and tack, will be discussed prior to your session, as specific items may be requested. Sessions will occur mainly in late spring/early summer.
For your participation in this project you will receive a complimentary photo shoot and an 8×10 print with matching web-sized digital file of your choice of image from the session. If you prefer, you may apply the value of those items towards the purchase of any other print product or digital image.
If chosen and you would like to move forward and officially book your session and participate, you will be asked to submit a $100 retainer. This retainer will be refunded to you in full after the session is completed, or you may apply it to a product purchase if desired. It will only be forfeited if you cancel or don’t attend the session.
